Okay… so it’s not exactly an original concept. But original isn’t everything.

What is Photo Niche?

PhotoNiche is a solution to the problems involved with using the free photo hosting options available.   Serious models and photographers understand that the free photo sites aren’t quite as free as they seem.   If you look through the EULA (you know… that long legal-looking thing you didn’t read, but clicked “I Agree” to anyway) you’ll find that you’re “paying” with the rights to your photos.  Most of the free sites include wording that lets them use your images for their own purposes.

That’s not free.    In fact, that could end up being really expensive.

You get what you pay for.

For a small monthly fee, PhotoNiche provides you with a place to store and/or display your photos–with no hidden tricks.   You pay for space with your money, not your rights.

Photo Blog

Built on the flexible WordPress CMS and beefed up with the NextGen Gallery feature, the Photo Blog allows you to create a full website with static pages, galleries, widgets, and a blog to keep your clients and industry professionals up to date on your latest projects.

Photo Gallery

Built on the powerful Gallery2 framework, and feature the Extreme theme, the Photo Gallery focuses on the photos, with a small “fly leaf” in each album to describe the contents.   Gallery2 allows for extensive expansion, including multiple e-commerce solutions so you can sell prints or digital files.

File Cabinet

Sometimes you just need a place to store your stuff.  No interface, no blogs, no albums–just an offline storage space for your photos.  We’ve got that, too.
